Probe holders

Gas probe holders

Gas probe holder with an exchangeable probe pipe are a complete gas probe.
It has a gas-electric cable that connects the analyser with the probe pipe.
Additionally it can be equipped with a condensate trap with gas filter.
All probe holders have a standard M30x1 female connector to attach the probe pipes.
Probes come in two versions:

  1. Heated, with a slot for soot measurement
  2. Unheated (without possibility to perform soot test)

A. Gas probes holders for GA-12plus

Probe holders for GA-12plus gas analysers have thinner gas tube (ID = 3.25mm) and electric cable is ended with 4-pin connector (Binder 712 type).
Electric connector does not have built-in ambient temperature sensor. Gas tube does not have quick-coupler to connect with analyser.
In case of version with in-line filter it is recommended to use filter inlet with 5µm pores.

B. Gas probes holders for other devices

The probe holders for all other devices (except GA-12plus) have thicker gas tube (ID=5.0mm) and electric cable ended with 7-pin connector (Binder 581 type).
The connector has a PT500 ambient temperature sensor built-in. Gas tube is ended with quick-coupler (female, ID=8.0mm).
In case of version with in-line filter it is recommended to use filter inlet with 20µm pores.

Hereby tool helps to configure, in few simple steps, ready to measure analyser. It allows to select main structural components, like gas dryer, gas sensors, etc. Some elements, like probe pipes are to be selected separately. This mini-configurator, generates a list of madur codes that identifies the selected configuration. Customer may add own comments and requests. Device configuration has to be verified by pressing the Refresh button in the Order Summary section. Order summary can be send to our sale engineers for validation and in order to obtain price offer.

Presenting prices principles

Mounting the probe pipe to the probe holder

  1. Insert the tip of the probe pipe into the holder’s hole and push it until it stops.
  2. Mind the thermocouple’s pins to slide gently in their positions and do not bend!
  3. Tighten up the probe pipe’s sleeve.

Using the heated probe holder to perform soot test

  1. Squeeze the holder’s grip to open the slot for the filter
  2. Slip in the filter into the slot, and release the grip
  3. Select soot test option in the analyser’s menu to perform the test
  4. After the test is done compare the filter with the soot test scale.
